Rugby stars forced to ‘cool down’ their raunchy X Factor performance ahead of first live show

The rugby players want to get pulses racing during tonight's show

X Factor: Celebrity’s Try Star have been forced to “cool down” their raunchy performance ahead of the first live show.

Rugby players Ben Foden, Thom Evans, and Levi Davis impressed viewers with their sex appeal earlier this month, when they were shown auditioning for the live shows in LA.

But now, the sports stars are being told to reign in their saucy dance moves, after crew members were left blushing during rehearsals this week.

A source told The Sun: “The boys have been telling everyone that they hope their performance doesn’t end up rivalling that famous Amanda Holden Ofcom complaint.”

“They are all hoping to impress Nicole Scherzinger, who has a front row seat to what is set to be the raunchiest performance the X Factor stage has ever seen!

“But producers have told the boys that the dance poles they wanted to use are one step too far and they’ve been removed from the creative.

“They’ve drawn the line at poles but the lads are still set on getting all the ladies and men hot under the collar as they take to the stage on Saturday night.”

The insider added: “During dress rehearsals nobody knew where to look. It was all getting a bit too steamy in the new studio – and a lot of the production staff were left blushing.”

“There’s still some worry that the lads may leave viewers shocked by their hip action antics as they fight to get through to next week’s show.”

The X Factor: Celebrity’s first live show will air tonight at 8.20pm on Virgin Media One.
