RTÉ studios too SMALL for Dancing With The Stars

RTE are looking for a bigger space for Dancing With The Stars, because their studios are too small.

Even the station’s usual external spot, The Helix, is reportedly too small for the show.

“BBC Strictly is done at Elstree Studio. We don’t have studios like that in Ireland,” a spokesperson admitted.

Producers need to find a space that’s large enough for a dance floor and audience, a judge’s zone, offstage practice area and dressing rooms for over 30 people.

“We have until January to find somewhere,” the spokesperson told the Irish Sun.

The show kicks off on RTE One at the start of 2017.
