Red Rock star Richard Flood has revealed his Italian fiancee loves him dressed up in his garda uniform.
The TV3 actor, who plays Superintendent James McKay in the new soap, has a baby with Italian actress Gabriella Pession.
And speaking about his uniform, Richard said: “She has to tell me she thinks I’m gorgeous.

“She might have just been spinning me a lie but I’m happy to live in ignorance.”
They met on the set of US drama Crossing Lines, which also starred Donald Sutherland and welcomed their first child Julio last July.
He told Irish Tatler: “We are really hectic at the moment, we’re actually moving house as well.
“My fiancee is shooting a TV show in Italy too but even though we’re juggling a lot we are trying to take it as it comes.”

And Richard says that family is very important to him – especially after his parents helped him when he struggled.
He said: “My parents were happy to support me as long as I was doing something I wanted to do and I was prepared to commit fully to it.
“They supported me through the tough times both financially and emotionally.
“When you get the phone call to say you didn’t get the part that you wanted they’re on the end of the phone to listen to you vent.”
