Red Rock star Denise McCormack fears they will be attacked by the gardai over their racy storylines.
Yesterday, Goss.ie told how officers are already spitting blood over the decision to feature a storyline featuring a uniformed garda having an affair with a schoolgirl.
And Denise – known for playing Linda in Love/Hate – said there is likely to be an “uproar”.

Asked if gardai will enjoy the soap, she said: “It’s before the watershed so we are limited in what we can do.
“But thinking of the storyline, there might be a bit of an uproar. I think after the success of Love/Hate, the Irish people are crying out for something like this.”

And Denise, speaking at a sneak preview of the soap’s first episodes, said it will be nothing like Fair City.
She told the Star: “This is a soap, but not as we know it. It’s exciting to be part of it – but it’s nerve-wracking.”
