Rachel Stevens insists contestants are “brave” auditioning for the Voice

Rachel Stevens has admitted she could never audition for a talent show like the Voice Of Ireland.

The former S Club 7 star, who started out in the music industry 17 years ago, insisted contestants that audition for the RTE hit show are “brave”.

“I never did the whole audition process. I think they’re are really brave,” she told the Irish Independent.

“When I started, it was very different. The whole industry was different. There wasn’t any of these shows. There wasn’t social media or posting stuff on YouTube.”

Meanwhile, the TV coach, who launched the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, insisted she enjoyed every moment of her second season on the Voice of Ireland with Una Foden, Bressie and Kian Egan.

“I had such a great time doing it and this time around being my second time, I had my feet under the table and I felt like I knew what I was doing,” she said.
