Jennifer Maguire has left RTE hidden camera show The Fear, admitting that she needs to be more careful now that she is pregnant.
The Republic of Telly star was previously attacked during the last season of the show, when a woman came at her with a knife.
Speaking to Goss.ie Jennifer said now that she is expecting her first child she has to keep safe:
“I’m not doing The Fear anymore, I’ve stepped away from that.”

“That was really unfortunate, but I couldn’t risk people coming at me with knives,” she said.
“I was devastated though because it’s a really good show and I loved doing it, and I’m really going to miss all the guys.”
“I know it’s going to be a huge hit because it’s just really funny and risque.”
Although Jennifer won’t be starring in The Fear, she is back for the next season of Republic of Telly and has a new show with TV presenter Darren Kennedy called The Unemployables.
Jennifer is also a host on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, along with her Republic of Telly co-stars Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh.
