While most people were quick to congratulate Brendan O’Carroll and the team behind Mrs Brown’s Boys for being voted Best British Sitcom of The Century – some people are really not happy.
The news was announced after Radio Times took a poll from the readers, with the British public choosing Mrs Brown’s Boys as the best comedy to air in the UK.
The comedy series beat off some serious competition, with shows like The Office, IT Crowd and Gavin and Stacey all missing out.
And some viewers are gob-smacked that the series beat out their favourites.
From claiming it’s just as bad as the Brexit vote to saying the show isn’t worthy, have a look at what people have been saying online:
This is the worst thing to happen Ireland since the famine #MrsBrownsBoys https://t.co/ULIECZK7BC

I’m taking the #MrsBrownsBoys poll in the same spirit as #BoatyMcBoatface. The British public are trolling the world at every opportunity.
