Netflix has confirmed season 5 of Emily in Paris is coming.
The hit show, starring Lily Collins, follows Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper is hired to provide an American perspective at a marketing firm in Paris.
Now, the streaming platform has renewed the series for another season with fan favourite characters returning once more.
Taking to Instagram, Netflix shared a video with Lily sitting at a table with Rome in the background.
She said: “There’s no place like Rome,” as she sips a teacup which has the number five on the bottom, teasing the next season.
They captioned the post: “It’s official: EMILY IN PARIS is coming back for season 5!”
Emily in Paris returned for a fourth season, after nearly two years of waiting in August.
Part 1 of the highly anticipated season premiered on August 15th, while the second joined Netflix on September 12th
In July, the first official trailer for season four was released, and it looks like we’re in for a dramatic new season.
After almost a year of delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the cast reunited to film the much-anticipated new season back in January.
Season four had been a long time coming, as the third instalment was released in December 2022, and it ended on a major cliffhanger.
Lily Collins returned to reprise her role as Emily Cooper, an American marketing executive living in the City Of Love.
The show also stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.
Rupert Everett joined the cast for season four as Giorgio Barbieri, Sylvie’s long-time friend.
