Mrs Brown’s Boys will reportedly return to the BBC with a new series for the first time in nine years.
The comedy show, which debuted in 2011, stars Brendan O’Carroll as Irish mammy Agnes Brown.
It last aired as a series in 2013 and since then, the show has only aired several specials.
According to The Sun, a new series will begin filming in April.
A source told the publication: “Everyone is very excited. It’s lovely to be working on another series. The cast can’t wait to see Brendan’s scripts.”
Another insider added: “This is something that everyone wants to happen, and we are working out the schedule for 2022/23”.
