RTÉ pulled in over half a million viewers as they aired Mrs Brown’s Boys live episode over the weekend.
While the special pulled in an amazing 6.4 million in the UK as it was aired on BBC on Saturday night, it attracted over 562,300 Irish viewers alone on RTÉ One.
RTÉ tweeted the news this afternoon, and revealed that it was watched by almost half (46%) of people watching TV in Ireland at the time.

Not only did the live episode pull in great ratings, but also great reviews as plenty of viewers took to Twitter to share their delight after tuning into the live special.
