Miriam O’Callaghan has revealed the BBC keep trying to poach her – but she’ll never leave RTE.
The Saturday Night With Miriam presenter insisted she won’t be joining up with Dave Fanning and Ryan Tubridy, who are both presenting at the UK State broadcaster.
She said: “I came from the BBC … so I don’t have the desire to go back and see what it is like on the other side of the water.
“I do get offers at the moment but I have a big family and I have a lot of work here so I am happy where I am at the moment.”
And Miriam – whose husband Steve Carson works in BBC Northern Ireland – insists the offers are only coming in because she used to work there before RTE.
She added: “Any broadcaster who has ever worked with another organisation is remembered by people who are still in that organisation.
“I’ve worked with a lot of people in the BBC who are now bosses in the BBC so I do get offers. I am honestly quite happy where I am. But you always listen and see what people are saying or offering.”
