RTE star Miriam O’Callaghan has insisted she’ll never come back to hosting the New Year’s Eve show.
The TV presenter last year walked away from presenting New Year’s Eve Live – despite being known for seeing the New Year in for five years running.

And Miriam insisted they can keep the show for years going forward, as she chooses to spend more time with her family.
Mum-of-eight Miriam has had to get used to a long distance relationship after husband Steve Carson moved to Belfast for a new job with the BBC.
And Miriam told the Mail: “I stopped doing the New Year’s Eve show to make sure I get to spend it with my family and I’m not going to change to that”.

It comes as Miriam has been rumoured to be moving to a weekday Radio 1 slot next year, and Goss.ie understands she could take over John Murray’s slot.
There are also rumours she could be a shoe-in for Derek Mooney’s programme, following his want to quit weekday radio.
However Miriam previously told Goss.ie that she is unsure exactly what was happening.
