Miriam O’Callaghan admits Pat Kenny Tonight show name is ‘strange’

Miriam O’Callaghan has admitted she thought it strange that the Pat Kenny Tonight show didn’t include Colette FitzPatrick’s name.

The former Late Late Show host had revealed to Goss.ie that the show’s name was because of “pure marketing.”

“I thought it was a little strange [not to include Colette’s name], but to be fair to both of them they said it was a marketing decision,” she said.

The Prime Time host said that she was familiar with the same controversy when she started her evening show with David McCullagh.

“I thought they were both competent on the show though and Colette herself seemed happy,” she told the Irish Mirror.

“When I was on Prime Time on Thursday, Twitter did go into a bit of fun with people saying ‘Watching Tonight with David McCullagh.’

“I thought it was funny. Life is too short to sweat about the small stuff.”
