Megan Barton Hanson broke down in tears on Celebs Go Dating, as she opened up about her ex-boyfriend Wes Nelson’s “betrayal”.
During a chat with dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson, the 25-year-old said Wes had promised her “kids and marriage” – but betrayed her by allegedly “sexting” another reality star.
Speaking about their past relationship, Megan said: “I thought we had this future like he spoke to me about kids and marriage and it came on the radio that he was sexting another Love Island contestant.”
“He said they weren’t sexting they were talking about cuddling but I just feel completely stupid and betrayed.”
Megan started to cry as she explained: “It’s just embarrassing, like in front of everyone.”
“I just wanted to find someone to come out and travel with and live with and make memories with so it’s just a bit s**t.”
The glamour model broke down about their split months after she branded Wes a “scumbag” after hearing rumours that he had been sexting Love Island star Amber Davies.
Megan and Wes split back in January while he was taking part in Dancing On Ice, as she was concerned about his relationship with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer.
But then in March, Megan thought their relationship might be back on track after they spent the night together on her birthday.
Unfortunately it wasn’t to be, as she found out that Wes had been sending “rude messages” to Amber around the same time that they had hooked up.
According to the Daily Star On Sunday, Megan said at the time: “He’s so calculating. He’s been crying about me on telly on Sunday, and the next minute sexting Amber.”
“You can’t act the victim and then be sly on the side. He’s got one public image that’s very innocent, the golden boy, when really behind closed doors he’s the total opposite.
“He’s a scumbag. He’s selfish and calculating and it’s all for votes,” she added.
