Irish presenter Maia Dunphy has hit out at Katie Hopkins after her appearance on The Late Late Show.
The British TV personality was on the show to promote her new documentary To Fat And Back.
After Katie verbally attacking audience members for favouring obesity, Maia revealed she was going to do the same documentary for RTE.
“Just watched Late Late Show back. Obesity is undeniable the most serious medical condition facing this part of the world.”

“It’s a shame Katie Hopkins uses such inflammatory language as we do need to discuss it,” she said.
“I had considered trying to go up 3 dress sizes then losing it for one of my documentaries but thought it would appear smug and condescending.”
“There are kinder, more helpful ways to approach it,” she added.
Maia has been a success with her popular RTE documentaries What Women Want.
