EXCLUSIVE: Made In Chelsea's Lucy Watson on relationships, Binky and loving Irish men

If you’ve been watching the latest series of Made In Chelsea (come on, who hasn’t?) you’ll know that Lucy Watson is at the forefront once again.

This time it’s not her love life at the centre of the series, but Binky’s. In last night’s episode Lucy was brought to tears again as Binky still hasn’t spoken to her.

But speaking to Goss.ie, Lucy says she doesn’t regret telling Binky how she really felt about Alex.

“I don’t regret anything because that’s what I would have wanted if I was in that situation with my friends. I think I would have regretted it if she got hurt and hurt and hurt and came back to me and said ‘why didn’t you tell me what I was doing was wrong?’,” she explained.

“I stand by what I did, now I’m just going to leave it and so what happens with them.”

From dating Chelsea’s bad boy Spencer Matthews to her current love triangle with Jamie Laing, Lucy has had her fair share of complicated relationships.

In Lucy’s debut book The Dating Game, the reality star gives advice to women in similar situations.

“The book is for any girl that’s either single or dating or just got into a relationship or just got out of a relationship, it really applies to anyone. If you’re really one of those girls that can’t be on your own it really empowers you,” she told Goss.ie.

“I guess for me, I’ve learned a lot, a lot more than other people in their lifetime. In the past 10 years I’ve had some ridiculous relationships.”

After all her ups and downs with men, Lucy says girls should focus on enjoying the single life.

“My number one advice is embrace being single. Don’t necessarily thing that you need to be with someone because unless you find the right person for you, you shouldn’t settle for like some average guy who just wants to be single.

“Don’t be afraid of dating, if you’re dating someone don’t be afraid of dating numerous people,” she said.

Lucy even hinted that cast mate Binky should buy the book, although she said she won’t be offering it up.

‘She can have one if she wants one but I think it would be pretty patronising to say hey read me book so I’m not going to offer her one.”

And while Lucy is currently single herself, the brunette admitted she loves Irish men.

“I love the Irish accent, I’m not gonna lie. I’ve met a lot of guys that are really good looking and they are Irish.”
