He is best known as the gangster who infamously killed a cat in Love/Hate, but actor Barry Keoghan has admitted he loves animals.
The Dubliner, who’s star is quickly on the rise in the movie industry, revealed he is looking to now buy a cat.
“I’m looking into buying a cat actually. I love animals,” he said,
Barry, who played Wayne in the show, said he’d like to name the cat Cleo – the name of the fictitious animal killed off in the RTE drama.

Meanwhile the actor admitted he had no idea his role in the show would get so much attention, after being branded an animal killer.
“I think that will definitely always follow me,” he told the Irish Mirror.
“I was  definitely surprised about  the controversy. I got a lot of stick over it,  but in a friendly way, a taking  the p**s way. That comes with the job though,” he said.
