Love Island’s voiceover artist Iain Stirling shares his favourite memory of Sophie Gradon

Love Island’s voiceover artist Iain Stirling has shared his favourite memory of Sophie Gradon following her tragic passing this week.

The 32-year-old, who was found dead on Wednesday afte battling depression, appeared on the 2016 series of ITV2’s hit show for which Iain did the voiceovers.

He shared a video in which Sophie stand up for her co-star Zara Holland, who had her Miss Great Britain title stripped during the series for having sex on camera.

He tweeted, “This will forever remain on of my favourite Love Island moments. Dearest Sophie, I truly hope you are now at peace. Stay shapey x”

During the speech, Sophie passionately talks about her friend, and women in general, saying, “It’s time people move forward from their old-fashioned thinking and accept the simple fact that women like to have sex!”

The speech was widely praised and received rapturous applause from the men in the villa.

The voiceover artist is in a relationship with Laura Whitmore and has recently moved in with the Irish TV presenter.
