The mum of Love Island star, Georgia Steel, appeared on Lorraine to talk about her daughter’s experience on the show.
She said her and Georgia’s father had many “sleepless nights” after watching their daughter betrayed by Josh.
“Georgia has never ever been dumped so the experience is so new to her,” she revealed.
She hopes that Georgia will “put her guard up” and go for Jordan.
Her mum was joined by last season’s winner, Amber Davies, who agreed that Georgia is “too good” for Josh and said that the Islander had a “lucky escape” from him.
Sharon Steel said she is “incredibly proud” of her daughter for exhibiting good morals and insists Georgia is the same on and off the show.
Sharon said Georgia’s dad was “devastated” when he found out she would appear on the show as he worried it would negatively affect her acting career, but he’s now happy about it.
Georgia will see the reel of Josh kissing another girl in this evening’s episode which begins on 3e at 9pm.
