Love Island responds to fan’s complaints about the loud kissing noises

Love Island has been getting quite a bit of slack recently, as fans and viewers complain about the loud noises that accompany each kissing scene.

The show has responded to the social media qualms, and it doesn’t look like they intend to get rid of the smoochy sounds any time soon.

Tweeting from the Love Island twitter account, they posted a GIF of islanders Belle and Tommy kissing.

Accompanying the picture is a caption, reading: “Time for some kissing noises! You won’t want to miss it.”

Because if the nature of the reality show, each contestant must wear a microphone pack at all times.

The pack, usually worn around each villa resident’s neck, is designed to pick up their every word, even down to a whisper.

With a lot of smooching going on on the show, the microphones have captured the distinctive audio of various pairs of islanders kissing.

The noise has been branded ‘cringey’ by viewers, who have taken to social media by force to complain.

“someone teach the producers of love island how to turn down the mic sensitivity when people are kissing so I don’t need to hear their spit being swapped” one wrote.

“I HATE how loud the kissing is on love island omg like whyyyyy” said another.
