Love Island has received over 1,500 complaints about contestant Danny Bibby, who was booted off the show earlier this week.
Shortly after he entered the villa, the 25-year-old came under fire after fans came across an Instagram comment where he used a racial slur.
Bosses allowed him to release an apology from the villa, but viewers were still unhappy about his presence on the show.
On Wednesday night, Danny was dumped from the Island alongside fellow contestant AJ, after viewers were asked to vote for their favourite Islanders.
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has since confirmed they received a total of 1,507 complaints relating to Danny.
They received 1,081 complaints when Danny was announced as a bombshell, and 426 more complaints about him after he made his debut on the show.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
