Love Island provided Rosie with 24/7 psych care during ’emotional rollercoaster’ stint on the show

Rosie Williams left the Love Island villa this week after giving viewers a lesson in gaslighting, a form of emotional abuse she suffered at the hands of fellow contestant Adam Collard.

The domestic violence charity Women’s Aid branded his actions “emotionally abusive” and commended her for calling out his behaviour.

The 25-year-old revealed that the show bosses are taking great care of her saying, “They have been making sure I am OK,” even going so far as to give her 24/7 access to a psychologist.

She told The Daily Star Sunday, “The support is constantly there. As everyone saw, I went on an emotional rollercoaster – and a lot of what happened wasn’t on TV.”

“Everyone at Love Island has said if I need anything for the rest of my life, they’re just a phone call away.”

“I have their numbers and I will never be afraid to ring them.”

The comments come after former Love Island contestant Sophie Gradon passed away this week having battled with depression recently.
