Love Island: Molly-Mae Hague missed a major family milestone while in the villa

Molly-Mae Hague has missed a major family milestone during her time in the Love Island villa.

It is reported that the top UK influencer’s mum Debbie Gordon is now engaged to her partner, Jon Rayner.

However, as contestants are forbidden from making contact with the world outside the villa, Molly-Mae wont find out about her mum’s engagement until her time on the show ends.

Jon Rayner, who is head of publications for football team Tottenham Hotspurs, is believed to have popped the question earlier this week.

Molly-Mae is currently resisting having her head turned away from boxer Tommy Fury in the Casa Amor villa.

Six new male contestants have entered the show in an attempt to tempt the current islanders out of their couplings.

Molly-Mae is remaining loyal to Tommy, and even hit back when one of the new entries, Stevie, branded Tommy an “air-head” on the show.

“I’m thinking bloody hell you’re brave. Jesus Christ, that’s the last person you want to be calling air head,” she ranted in a Beach Hut confessional after the dig was made.

“You’ve been in here five minutes and you’re already making digs about the boy I’m with to my face, no.”
