Love Island bosses have denied claims Millie Court and Liam Reardon secretly romped while they were in the hideaway.
During Tuesday’s episode, the couple were invited to spend the night in the hideaway, after winning Monday’s Spit The Roast challenge.
Viewers watched Millie give Liam a massage, but The Sun on Sunday has since reported that the couple “romped over the bed covers” in scenes that were too explicit to air.
However, a Love Island spokesperson has strongly refuted the claims, and said in a statement: “This is completely untrue.”
Bosses were forced to release a statement after a source told the newspaper that producers had to cut explicit scenes from Tuesday’s episode.
“The footage was quite explicit and producers were miffed because they couldn’t air any of it,” the insider claimed.
“Millie spent a long time straddling Liam and stripped off her nurse’s outfit. It meant that the footage had to be cut cleverly for broadcast and video editors had to get creative.”
“At least they are genuinely attracted to each other.”
Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
