Ofcom receives over 650 complaints about Dani Dyer’s treatment on Love Island

Love Island bosses are in trouble as Ofcom has received over 650 complaints relating to last night’s episode.

If you’re up to date with Love Island, you’d know that the couples were separated into different villas.

The girls were sent a video reel of the boys in their new villa, Casa Amor.

The footage gave an update on each of their partners in the new house but grazed over the fact that new girls were sent into Casa Amor, one of which happens to be Jack’s ex-girlfriend.

What the girls were not shown was the footage of Jack talking about how much he missed his Dani, despite only being apart for two days.

The Sunday night episode showed Dyer immediately bursting into tears over the misleading video, causing fans to question the morals of the producers who orchestrated the drama.

The episode has caused Ofcom to receive over 650 complaints regarding the concern over the wellbeing of Dani Dyer.

A spokesperson for Ofcom has said the complaints “will be assessed against the broadcasting code before a decision is made whether or not to investigate.”

Viewers also took to social media to vocalize their worries while others defended the show calling it a “game show” and vocalizing that the contestants know what they signed up for.

Tonight’s show will reveal how Jack and Dani’s relationship fares in the wake of the drama.
