Louis Walsh has revealed the X Factor panel can’t slack off this year – as Simon Cowell is working them to the bone.
The Mayo judge admitted that the return of multi millionaire music mogul Cowell has a changed the dynamic to the music talent show.
He said: “I think it’s a different X Factor than last year. You know Cowell’s back and he’s making us work really hard. There’s no where to hide and he demands we all work.”

Louis also revealed that main man Simon decides what judge mentors each category.
He said: “You know what he does? he gives us red herrings. One year he told me I had the groups, I was really excited.
“I was so happy and I walk into the room and it was the overs. I was so disappointed.”

Louis is the longest serving judge on the music talent show – working 11 years on the ITV hit show.
And when asked why he believed he is still on the judging panel, he said: “Because I work, I love what I do, I love the job.”
Previously Louis has mentored acts such as Shayne Ward, Jedward and JLS.
