Former Xposé TV presenter Lisa Cannon is set to embark in a possible new career direction as a drummer.
Lisa admitted that she wants to follow in the footsteps of her Rolling Stones and Beatles heroes.
“I’ve always wanted to play the drums like Keith Moon or Ringo Star,” she told Evoke.ie.
When asked by Ireland AM producers to come up with a new segment for the show she suggested learning how to master the art of drumming in a mere two months.
In preparation for her big debut Lisa is taking lessons at Walton School of Music as well as practicing at home, which we imagine must be a barrel of noisy laughs for her Welsh rugby player husband Richard Keatley.
Lisa Cannon has said an emotional goodbye to Xposé on her latest episode in August this year after it was revealed that the TV3 entertainment show opted for a new format, which saw her and popular hosts Peter O’Riordan and Aisling O’Riordan also axed from the show.
