The Late Late Show returns with over half a million people tuning in

The return of The Late Late Show had a flying start with over half a million people tuning in.

The popular show made it’s return to our screens on Friday night with guests like Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy sitting down on the infamous couch.

Ryan Tubridy’s show drew an average audience of 625,200 viewers – 51% of Ireland’s total viewers.

The Late Late Show celebrated the triumphs of Irish Olympians too as Paul and Gary O’Donovan, Annalise Murphy and Michael Conlan talked about their time in Rio.

The amount of people watching peaked at 741,000 viewers as the O’Donovan brothers informed viewers to make sure their children always eat their broccoli.

The overall reach for the RTE show’s return was over one million with 1.2 million people tuning in over all.

Jamie made a lasting impression after the first episode of the show when he dropped the F-bomb.
