Kilkenny Choir make it through semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent

The choir from Kilkenny that has captured the love of the UK and Ireland have made it through to the semi final of Britain’s Got Talent.

Led by teacher Veronica McCarron the choir from Presentation Secondary School originally got lots of attention after Simon Cowell openly flirted with Veronica during the audition stages.

But now the group have earned their place in the semi-final down to pure talent.

Now in it’s tenth year the winner of Britain’s Got Talent will perform for the queen at the Royal Variety Performance and win a £250,000 prize.

BGT judge Alesha Dixon recently told Goss.ie she was worried the choir would beat her acts in the final.

“They’re amazing. They are really different as well,” she admitted.

“They’re going to challenge my choir which is a little bit worrying. I love them, I really love them,” she told Goss.ie.
