Kathryn Thomas backs Eoghan McDermott for RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars

Kathryn Thomas has backed her friend Eoghan McDermott for RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars.

The presenter pals worked together on The Voice of Ireland before it was axed by RTÉ, but Kathryn reckons Eoghan would be the perfect person to host the show’s replacement – which will be Ireland’s version of Strictly Come Dancing.

When asked who she thinks should front the show, Kathryn bet on her fellow RTÉ star, who she previously dirty danced with on The Voice.

“The love of my life, Eoghan McDermott. I think he is amazing. I have been in his arms on many a dance,” she told the Herald.

While the Carlow native has already admitted that she’ll have no part in the new dance show, as she’s pursuing other projects, she thinks Eoghan would be “brilliant”.

“He knows what he’s talking about and he’d be brilliant,” she said.

The blonde presenter also bet on Vogue Williams and Grainne Seoige as potential candidates.

“There’s loads of girls. I think Vogue Williams would be brilliant. Grainne Seoige would be amazing as well. We have an endless supply of talent,” she added.
