TV presenter Jennifer Maguire has revealed she’s spending her Christmas helping unemployed teens find jobs.
The Republic of Telly star has seen RTE sign up her and Darren Kennedy for a full series of the Unemployables.
Their format – which was recently given the test of a pilot – shows the pair helping young people off the dole.

She said: “We’re doing a series of The Unemployables for early next year, so Darren and I are filming that at the moment.
“We had the pilot and there was great reaction to that, so we’re doing five more episodes now. Things are really busy at the moment.”
Previously Jennifer admitted that filming the show has totally changed her opinion on the unemployed, who she thought were just lazy.

And the pregnant star admitted that she can’t wait to relax at home with her husband Lau Zamparelli over Christmas.
“Lau is cooking dinner for my parents and I this year at their house, so I’m looking forward to that. We alternate Christmases each year, so it’s either Dublin or Bristol, and this year it’s my turn,” she said.
“I get to sit back and relax. We just eat constantly – which I love – and Lau is really into cooking and baking, so he’s incredibly excited because he loves this time of year.
“He actually made us put up our Christmas tree last week he was so excited – he’s one of those people. He’s like a big kid and we’re already watching festive movies.”
