RTE star Jennifer Maguire has revealed how rival Grainne Seoige was left fuming after a spoof interview.
The TV star asked her for the Republic of Telly whether she cringed at some of the acts on the All Ireland Talent Show in 2009 but was left “a little bit scared” afterwards.
She said: “I didn’t know how that was going to go, and it went the wrong way on me.
“I was a little bit scared. She’s a force to be reckoned with. She was very cross with me afterwards. She might still be cross.
“But that was five years ago, when people didn’t know the [now dropped] show and they thought I was just being nasty for the sake of it.”
Scared: Grainne wasn’t happy after interview
However Jennifer insisted it was totally different when she asked Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary how he felt being the “biggest prick in Ireland”.
She added: “He was fine about it. Afterwards he shook my hand and said, ‘No one’s ever called me that before’. But I’m still afraid he’ll be there when I check-in sometime.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer admitted she wished she didn’t go on The Apprentice – as it left her “like a complete fish out of water”.
And the 2fm presenter also found it tough on the BBC business show because boss Alan Sugar was a “cold little man”.
She said: “I was a huge fan of the show and I wanted to do something different. Eight years ago though, I was a baby and I hadn’t a fucking clue.
“I could talk the talk, though. I went for it and I nearly fucking died when I was on it. It was the scariest thing ever. I felt like a complete fish out of water.

“I felt like a bit of a fucking Paddy. It’s like when you go to London and you are still from D4, but you are still, suddenly, a Paddy.
“I struggled a bit and maybe my defence mechanism was to just block everything out.”
But Jennifer also told Life magazine that she found it tough from hating Alan Sugar from the moment she met him.
She said: “He didn’t like me and I didn’t fucking like him. He was a cold little man.”
