Jason Donovan has joined the star-studded lineup for Dancing On Ice.
The Neighbours’ star was hotly tipped to appear on the ice-skating competition, and has now been confirmed by the show.
Jason said of the news: “I’m so excited to learn a new skill and experience something that I would probably never have done on my own.”
Jason rose to fame in the Australian soap Neighbours, playing Scott Robinson – before embarking on a music career.
The actor played the lead role in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the early 1990s.
Jason is the fifth celeb announced for the popular ice-skating competition, joining former Coronation Street actress Faye Brookes, presenter Myleene Klass, Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant, and Broadway star Denise Van Outen.
Dancing On Ice will return to our screens in January on ITV.
