James Nesbitt reveals worries for himself and the return of Cold Feet

James Nesbitt has admitted that he has his worries himself and for the sixth season of Cold Feet as it returns to our screens.

The British comedy ran from 1997 to 2003 before it was announced in 2015 that the show was to relaunch.

“It’s something I was worried about – now I’m in my 50s, am I still interesting or has it all finished?” he said.

Back again: Cold Feet is set to return to our screens this autumn | ITV

“Cold Feet was about three couples in their 30s examining their lives, and now we’re looking at them in their 40s and 50s so where has life changed, where has it moved on, is there still a blank sheet of paper where you’re moving on to something new?,” he asked the Belfast Telegraph.

“Will we bring the old audience? I imagine we will. Will we attract a new audience? I hope so.

“The worries we’ve had about what Cold Feet will mean to anyone are the same questions I’ve been asking about myself.”
