Brian McFadden has told Ryan Tubridy he can stuff his advice “not to patronise children” on the TV3 Toy Show tonight.
The ex-Westlife star was fuming when the RTE star told him how to act on the rival to the Late Late Toy Show tonight.
But McFadden, 34, told Tubs that he is a dad himself – to daughters Molly, 13, and Lilly-Sue, 11 – and doesn’t need his advice and said it sounded “quite patronising”.
Ready to go: Brian insists he doesn’t need help from Tubs
He added: “I have two kids already so I don’t need any advice from Ryan Tubridy about how to treat kids on my show. It will be fine, Ryan.”
It came after Tubridy told Goss.ie that he would tell Brian “treat the children like they’re children but don’t patronise them. They are smarter than you think.”
But Brian admitted he might be in need of some help from the kids, as he’s come down with flu during rehearsals.
Toy Show gang: The foursome are looking forward to taking on RTE
“I have been coming down with this for the past week. I’m sure the adrenaline will kick in when the show starts,” he told the Irish Sun
“A bad flu, live TV, children, and John and Edward. Could they make it any harder?”
He added that he will wear at least one Christmas jumper during the 90 minute live show
