Irish contestant Sinead Hegarty booted off Love Island

She was tipped for success on Love Island but sadly Irish hopeful Sinead Hegarty missed out on a place in the house.

Sinead, 23, from Tyrone, battled it out with three other beauties to try to make it onto the singles show but the blonde VIP hostess, who’s currently living in Magaluf and describes herself as “fiercely competitive”, failed to impress the panel of male contestants.

Casey Wynter and Chelsea Kelly were also sent packing as glamour model Katie Salmon was selected to stay.

Love Island, which originally filmed 12 single celebrities spending five weeks on an island in Fiji, has undergone a reboot and now features ordinary members of the public.

The setting has also moved to Mallorca.

The saucy ITV show which began in 2005 was fronted by Ireland’s own Patrick Kielty and UK presenter Fearne Cotton.

Caroline Flack currently presents the show which has become embroiled in controversy after Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title for having sex on air with Alex Bowen.
