Fair City bosses have revealed they are trying to get Colin Farrell to make a cameo on the show.
The popular Irish soap has had a host of cameos over the years, including Gay Byrne, Marty Whelan and Larry Gogan.
But now producers are hoping to attract some bigger names to appear on the show, which is currently celebrating its 25th year on our TV screens.
Executive producer Brigie de Courcy revealed that A-list superstar Colin Farrell is at the top of their wish list – in a bid to boost their ratings.
Cameo: Bosses hoping Colin Farrell will make an appearance in Carrigstown
Asked if they want bigger names, Brigie told the Star: “It’s something we have looked at in the past and something we want to continue to look at in the future to increase the show’s appeal.
“Top of our wishlist is Colin Farrell – so if his schedule and ours work out maybe it will happen that he appears in Carrigstown.”
