The popular series will come to an end next year

HBO’s Head Of Programming Casey Bloys has revealed that they’re going to shoot “multiple versions” of the show’s ending – in order to avoid spoilers.

The popular fantasy series has been unlucky with spoilers and leaks over the years, but bosses are determined to keep the eighth and final season top secret.

“I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens.

“You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham has revealed the very tight security surrounding the scripts for the final season.

The Irish actor, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth, said, “Let me tell you what I know. Yesterday something quite monumental happened. I got the scripts for the last season. Kind of.”

“I got them all – I can’t open them because of all the security and I can’t walk them out,” he told IGN at New York Comic Con on Saturday. “I went ‘I’m not touching it I don’t care’, because it’s like pulling the pin out of a grenade.”

“Tomorrow I fly back to Ireland and the first table reading is on Sunday. The second table reading is on Monday. Then we rehearse and then start shooting the week after.”

The star also expressed his delight that he’s made it to the final series of the show, which is notorious for killing key characters off.

“My ambition was to get to the last season and now I’ve got to the last season, I’ve got to get to the last episode,” he added.
