TV star Graham Norton was offered a multi-million euro deal to move to the US to host a late-night chat show – but he turned it down.
The BBC presenter was asked to front CBS’s Late, Late Show – before it was offered to comedian James Corden.
However Graham said he would stay with the BBC, despite the temptation of replacing veteran host Craig Ferguson in March.

An insider said: “Graham was a firm favourite but they just couldn’t get him. He’s got two years left to run at the BBC and he’s very loyal.
“They would still like him at some point in the future – he would be huge over there.”
“America will remain a holiday destination rather than a place of work,” Graham said.
