Kit Harington may have lost a few Irish fans when he complained about ‘depressing’ Belfast but he’s about to gain a whole new legion of flame-haired followers.
The English actor got himself into hot water when making a joke of the three things the city celebrates – the most bombed hotel in Europe, building the doomed Titanic and making depressing TV show Game of Thrones.
Although TV star’s joke may have fallen like a lead balloon but the Londoner admitted there’s one upside to filming in Ireland – he’s surrounded by redheads.

“I love redheads, which is a good thing because of filming in Ireland. I love romance. I think it’s one of the greatest pleasures in life,” he said.
The TV star is trying to learn how to be happy single since splitting from series co-star Rose Leslie.
“I’m not looking for the love of my life at the moment. I’m trying to learn to be happy and hopefully that lovely lady will come along,” he told The Sun.

Meanwhile, Kit is looking forward to the Eurovision Song Contest next month and hopes the UK take it more seriously this year.
“Terry Wogan is hilarious and it’s always a fun show to see. It’s maybe not taken seriously enough as it should be in the UK. Maybe that’s why we never win!” he admitted.
