Former Love Island star calls on bosses to axe Casa Amor twist

They branded it as 'savage'

Former Love Island star Olivia Buckland has called on bosses to axe the show’s popular Casa Amor twist.

The challenge, which usually occurs a few weeks into the show, sees the boys or girls move into a separate villa with six new arrivals.

The Islanders left behind in the main villa are also joined by six new people, in a bid to shake things up.

The twist was designed to tempt the Islanders, and see if they will ditch whoever they were previously coupled up with.

Olivia, who met husband Alex Bowen on the show in 2016, said that while she is excited to see what the winter edition of the show will be like, she thinks producers should get rid of Casa Amor.

During an interview with OK! Magazine, she said: “I’m excited to see what it will be like and see if it will be any different but, I’m assuming it’s gonna be a big hit, as usual, everyone’s gonna be obsessed.”

“I’m wondering if they’re going to have a Casa Amor… I’d get rid of Casa Amor because I feel so bad for the people that have to do it.”

“I didn’t have it in our series and it looks savage so I think I’d cross off Casa Amor,” she explained, while discussing the show’s format.

Olivia also offered some advice to future Islanders.

“Be yourself it’s really obvious when people aren’t true to themselves and do things just because you think they’re gonna get you extra air time,” she advised.
