They have already signed on Pat Kenny, and now UTV Ireland bosses are refusing to rule out Grainne Seoige joining the station.
While Grainne lost out on becoming the face of their news show Ireland Live, sources have told Goss.ie bosses are still interested in working with her.
“UTV Ireland bosses have not offered Grainne anything yet. She was never going to be the face of their news and current affairs show, but they aren’t against bringing her on board.”

“They have agreed that there may be a show suitable for Grainne. But no concrete decisions have been made,” a TV insider revealed.
When contacted by Goss.ie a spokesman for UTV Ireland said: “We aren’t ruling anything out when it comes to on screen talent.”
While many believed Grainne could have been the host of Ireland Live, UTV Ireland unveiled broadcaster Alison Comyn as the face of the show last week.

In the meantime Pat Kenny was announced as a new chat show host.
The former Late Late Show presenter will go up against Brendan O’Connor on Saturday night’s in 2015.
UTV Ireland will go live in January 2015.
