Actor Dermot Murphy has landed a lead role in RTE’s new drama called Clean Break.
The star, who is best known for playing Brian in RTE show Raw, is joining a star studded cast in the new series, being created by Love/Hate producers Octagon Films.
RTE’s latest project has already started filming with a release date set for 2015.

The show is set in Wexford, and tells the tale of a “community driven by love, greed, status and revenge.”
Dermot will play the role of Snowy, and will star alongside Love/Hate actress Kelly Thornton, The Dutchess star Aidan McArdle and Peaky Blinders star Simone Kirby.
Dermot’s other half Tara Lee is also soaring in her career. The loved up pair met on the set of Raw, and are now both working on other shows.

Tara, 20, stars in the new season of The Fall and starred in the recent Sinead O’Connor music video.
And their former Raw co-star Sam Keeley has also been making a name for himself. The actor stars in Ron Howard’s new movie Heart of The Sea.
