Connected’s sex worker star Kate McGrew has revealed some of her clients have watched her antics on the show.
The RTE star told Goss.ie they have been “very sweet” about seeing her on the TV – and love seeing her outside of the bedroom.
She said: “They’re very sweet about it. Some of them have said I hate to see you cry, really nice things. They say oh you’re family looks so lovely and things like that.”
Reality star Kate says most of her experiences with clients have been positive ones but “there are as many negative experiences as one would find with any work they choose to do every day”.
But the Ohio-born sensation told Goss.ie she has no plans to stop working in the sex industry.
She said: “I will continue doing sex work absolutely. I am happy to do sex work until my music shows and tours are making enough money to fully support me.”

Speaking ahead of tonight’s final episode, Kate told Goss.ie that being on the show was “difficult at times” because “the vast majority of my friends didn’t want to participate..they didn’t know what it was going to turn out like.”
But Kate feels Connected was “a learning curve” and feels “honoured to be a part of a show that started cultural conversations.”
