The Dublin native revealed that when he does make documentaries, he wants to do certain things but other’s disagree with him.

“I have to do things that are something beside the things going on in my head just beside doing another thing about WB Yeats,” he told Goss.ie.

“There has to be some angle to it that I think is what’s going on and maybe other people, they disagree with me so it has to be that.

“TV is kind of relentless when you start and I’m always unsure it’s going to be anything.”

Bob also admitted that he’s works primarily on documentaries because the topics are something close to his heart.

“I don’t really like doing it, the stuff I’ve done is few and far between and it’s usually documentaries but they’re because they are something close to my heart like father’s rights or Africa or Yeats.

“I’ve made movies but they can be f***ing pain in the arse. I can’t act,” he added.
