Erika Jayne finally addresses her divorce from Tom Girardi on RHOBH: ‘It’s complicated’

Erika Jayne has finally addressed her controversial divorce from Tom Girardi on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

At the beginning of the latest episode, the 49-year-old spoke to the camera about her divorce after sharing the news with her co-stars over text.

Erika said: “There’s so many layers to this divorce. It’s so f***ing complicated. It’s very difficult to explain.”

“You know, I’m sure that they were very shocked and that they’re going to have a lot of questions.”

The show then teased a clip of Erika speaking to her co-stars about the situation.

The Pretty Mess singer said she “did not see it ending this way” with Tom, before adding: “I was going to hold that man’s hand until he died.”

Later in the episode, Erika’s co-stars brought up her divorce before she arrived at Sutton Stracke’s party.

Garcelle Beauvais said: “I was shocked to hear about Erika. I didn’t see it coming. I remember when I met her last year. We had this amazing lunch.”

“And the moment she mentioned [Tom], she welled up. I felt the love, you know? And I said, ‘That’s what I want.'”

Dorit Kemsley then suggested Erika is “one of those [people] that she holds certain things to her chest and when she’s ready, she shares when she feels comfortable.”

Erika was then shown entering Sutton’s home, and the episode ended with a “to be continued …” slide.

Erika filed for divorce from the 82-year-old attorney in November, after 21 years of marriage.

Since then, Tom has been caught up in a lot of legal drama – and is currently facing numerous lawsuits.

A month after their shocking split, Tom and Erika were sued for allegedly using their divorce to embezzle money.

In December, Tom and his law firm Girardi & Keese (GK) were held in civil contempt over allegedly embezzling funds from several families who lost loved ones in a 2018 Boeing plane crash – and had their assets frozen by a judge.

The former couple’s legal controversies recently played out in a new documentary titled ‘The Housewife and the Hustler’, which premiered on Hulu on June 14.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to watch on Hayu in Ireland and the UK.
