Former radio star Hector looks likely to see his career reborn overseas.
The ex-2FM breakfast presenter has been approached by broadcasters who love his Hector Goes series.
And Hector, who is loving spending time with his family after being let go by RTE, would consider a move to focus on TV.
“I can’t say anything about radio, but the TV programme Hector Goes proved to be very popular and there has been a bit of interest from broadcasters in
the UK about it, so we’ll see where that goes,” he told the Herald.

“Right now I’m just enjoying taking the kids to school and sleeping in until eight o’clock instead of rising at five.”
The Navan star added that he doesn’t “listen to the new show” – Breakfast Republic – that replaced him.
“It’s onwards and up- wards because you just have to move on with things,” he added.
