Donald Trump confirmed as first guest on Piers Morgan’s new show

Donald Trump has been confirmed as the first guest on Piers Morgan’s new show.

The dramatic trailer for the premiere of Piers Morgan Uncensored was released on Wednesday evening, and it sees the former President of the United States storm off after clashing with the presenter.

The 75-minute interview will be screened via TalkTV on Monday at 8pm, and it promises to be “the most explosive interview of the year”.

Piers’ new show comes after he dramatically quit Good Morning Britain last March.

The 57-year-old announced his departure from the show after ITV received a formal complaint from Meghan Markle, over comments he made about her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Piers and his co-hosts were discussing Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah when he said: “I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she says… I wouldn’t believe her if she read me a weather report.”

The presenter was widely criticised for his comments, as Meghan opened up about her mental health in the interview, and admitted she felt suicidal during her time as a senior working member of the Royal family.
