Dermot O’Leary has revealed that he always feels worried when the X Factor returns to TV.
The 43-year-old has been the talent show’s host since 2007 but quit in March 2015 and now is returning to host after being offered a nice paycheck.
“I’m always worried about [X Factor], yeah!” Dermot admitted.

The Irish man further admitted that he wants the rates to come in but that people watch TV differently to how they used to.
“You want it to rate, and X Factor – especially the live shows – are there to be enjoyed live,” the X Factor pro said to Digital Spy.
“People watch telly in a very different way than they used to, but that said, of course we want to make sure that we do well.
“I know it’s going to sound like a beauty queen, but I don’t want it to be about us.”

The radio host further revealed that he wants the fans to enjoy the show and that it’s been the warmest year he’s ever done on X Factor.
“I want people to just enjoy the show – it’s been the warmest year I’ve ever done on The X Factor.
“I think everyone seems to be enjoying it, and we just want people to enjoy it at home,” he added.
