Danny O'Donoghue to return to The Voice

Irish rocker Danny O’Donoghue is making his big comeback on The Voice UK tonight.

However the Voice coaches can breathe a sign of relief as the musician won’t be going after their chair but rather appearing as a one-off with his bandmates for Saturday night’s live final.

Performing on the BBC show, the singer will no doubt catch-up with his former colleagues Will.I.Am and Tom Jones.

With Irish contender Lucy O’Byrne in the final, the Dubliner will no doubt support one of our own whilst he revisits his old stomping ground.

Danny, who was one of the original judges in 2012 but left after two series, was replaced by Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson in 2014.

His band The Script have just completed a run of UK shows and will headline Dublin’s Croke Park in June along with support from Pharrell Williams.
